More than meets the eye...

I don't about anybody else, so I'll speak for myself, but I am a HUGE fan of cartoons. And as odd as it may seem, I loved the "boy" cartoons as much as the girlie ones... That really doesn't have much to do with what's on my mind other than the Transformers tag line... More than meets the eye!

I was thinking about this in reference to Samson (His story can be found in Judges ch 13-16).  You're probably wondering why I thought of Samson and Transformers in the same setting.  Well... let me tell you.

Most people tend to believe that Samson was a big muscular man but the scriptures say people question where his strength came from.  That lets me know that maybe he didn't appear to be big and strong, maybe he looked like a regular guy...

Looking at Sampson the people had no idea where his strength came from, they knew he was strong because of demonstration.  Not many knew the true source of his power.

Such are most of us... looking at you ...people have no idea who you really are.  Not until they see you flowing in anointing and  purpose or in destiny moments.  They have no idea you can pray a demon out of the atmosphere, that God has shown you a vision of the things to come in the next 6 months, that you laid your hand on someone sick and they recover, that you were born to break generational curses, that you're a truth carrier, that you're an apostle, a teacher, a pastor, that you have nations in you waiting to be birthed, that you are called to greatness... Most people thin you're the simple little (insert name here) they've always know.

To look at Samson people may have noticed or known that he was a Nazirite, but not until He did what God had purposed him to do, did they truly see who he was.

I say that for you as well.. some people will never truly understand who you are until they see the God in you, until they see Him operate through you and in you.  It's not for show or boast, but to accomplish a task and bring Glory to God.

There's nothing like knowing that people expect me to be weak and frail and to be discounted a lot but guess what... when I step into my calling and purpose with the Spirit of God flowing through me, to bring deliverance, to heal the sick, mend the broken, and proclaim one word that touches thousands... it's shocking and unexpected. Those same people who thought I wasn't about anything can't help but acknowledge the power and presence of God... and for some the very existence.

Isaiah 10:27 tells us that the yoke will be destroyed by the anointing and that's what Samson's purpose was.  God blessed him with the strength to overcome his enemies so that His purpose could be fulfilled and the Israelites would have reprieve from the Philistines.  Even in his failure and blindness, Samson asked God to remember him that he could be avenged for his eyes... it was said that he killed more Philistines in his death than when he was alive

No matter what has been said to you, about you, what negative words have been declared over you or what failures you may have faced... there's more to you than meets the eye! God still loves you, still wants you, still desires to carry out His plan and purpose through you.. If you failed, learn from your mistake, repent and keep moving forward... If you're afraid of what people will think or say... GET OVER IT!  People talked about Jesus the whole time He was here, before He came and now that He's gone back... people still don't believe who He said He is... but it didn't stop Him from accomplishing what He was sent to do...remember there's more to you than meets the eye and TRANSFORM!!
